DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY ATTENDEES
FIFG FOOTGOLF WORLD CUP 2026
1. Object and Scope
The present document is applicable to all persons attending the FIFG FootGolf World Cup 2026 as family members, friends, companions, guests, spectators, or any person as an official player (hereinafter, the “Attendee”, “Player”, “Caddie”, “Team Staff”). Acceptance is deemed granted by entering or remaining in any of the venues or activities linked to the event.
2. Team Staff Condition
The Team Staff acknowledges knowledge of the FIFG regulations. They agree not to consume prohibited substances during their participation in the World Cup, will not smoke any type of device while wearing the uniform, and will not consume alcohol while wearing the uniform on the playing fields; by doing so, they accept that they may be expelled without the right to claims or refunds.
3. Acceptance of Regulations, Authorities, and Conduct
The Team Staff is obliged to respect the regulations and instructions of the organization's staff and volunteers, and shall not raise their voice or insult any person from the Organizing Committee or FIFG authorities, maintaining conduct that does not affect the image of the event or the FIFG, both verbally and on social media; by doing so, they agree to pay fines and sanctions for damages, or face expulsion from the event without receiving refunds.
4. Field and Restricted Areas
Local course rules must be respected. The Team Staff must not make inappropriate claims, and in case of seeking information or having a claim, it must be done through you to address your players' situations as a Member Country directly with the organization. Littering on the field or introducing outside food and beverages is prohibited; thermoses may be refilled with water once inside the courses and must enter without liquids.
5. Prohibition of Interference
The Team Staff shall not interfere with the competition, players, operation, or media development of the World Cup. In case of observing that a group is not applying a rule, they may record a video and show it to the rules official; if so, they must share the material at the moment their players go to submit their cards. After signing the scorecard, no subsequent claims will be accepted.
6. Photographs, Videos, and Use of Material
The Team Staff may only take photographs and videos from authorized zones. It is strictly prohibited:
-
The commercial, promotional, or lucrative use of the material.
-
Recording within the field of play, within fairways, or walking behind groups inside the field of play if they do not have the authorization and registration of the organizing committee. They may record from the cart paths to support other players or their team, but not record inside the field. Non-compliance authorizes the organization to remove the participant, impose fines, and request the deletion of the material.
-
As Team Staff, if the Member Country wishes to bring recording equipment, they must inform the Organizing Committee to comply with protocols and regulations.
7. Transportation, Transfers, and Stay All transfers (to/from Acapulco and local transfers) are carried out under the sole responsibility of the Player/Participant, releasing the organization from all liability for any incident.
8. Health, Illness, and Risks
Any illness, injury, or physical or emotional condition occurring before, during, or after the event is the exclusive responsibility of the Player/Participant.
9. Medical Care and Emergencies
The Team Staff authorizes the management of emergency care, recognizing that all costs will be at their own expense.
10. Limitation and Release of Liability The Team Staff releases from all liability:
-
FIFG and Organizing Committee.
-
Mexican FootGolf Federation (Federación Mexicana de FootGolf).
-
Venues, sponsors, and related entities.
-
Companies responsible for audio and videos.
For any material, physical, emotional, moral, or patrimonial damage occurring during their stay.
11. Sanctions
Non-compliance with regulations or acts of disrespect, inside or outside the World Cup environment, will result in immediate expulsion and financial fines, without the right to a refund.
12. Play and Support on the Field
If a member of the Team Staff is a Caddie in the individual or team World Cup and participates in any of them as a player, when acting as a Caddie they must respect the Caddie regulations and have the package covered to receive the bib that identifies them. In case of being a Caddie for more than one player, it must be specified. Coaches, Captains, Presidents, or team managers are authorized to speak at all times with their players and may do so before or after completing the hole so as not to interfere during play.
13. Claims of and in the Game
The Team Staff must announce any circumstance or violation of regulations by players before signing the scorecards; it cannot be done afterwards. Only the Team Staff may report to the organizing committee regarding situations that must be reviewed outside of play, in cases of rules that merit suspensions or expulsions. Claims towards rules judges or members of the organizing committee must be made through the representative of their FIFG Member Country and not by the player directly, and must be documented through the provided materials to generate a record.
14. Documentation of Situations
Sheets to record data and explanations of incidents can be found at the scorecard submission table at each course. This will be the official medium for claims and recommendations.
15. Consent for Use of Image
Assignment of image rights: The Team Staff authorizes, free of charge, irrevocably, and for an indefinite period, the Organizing Entities to capture, reproduce, edit, publish, and disseminate their image, voice, and name in photographs, videos, and other audiovisual materials, in any digital or printed media, for promotional, informative, and dissemination purposes of the event, without generating a right to remuneration.
16. Transportation, Displacements, and Losses Transportation to, during, and from Acapulco:
The Team Staff acknowledges that any transfer or transportation related to their participation —including trips to Acapulco, displacements within Acapulco during the event, and the return from Acapulco— is at their own risk and expense. The Team Staff releases the Organizing Entities from all liability for damages, losses, thefts, delays, accidents, additional expenses, or any other harm occurring during transportation in private, third-party, public, or contracted vehicles, or in transfers organized by third parties. Luggage and Belongings: The Team Staff assumes responsibility for the custody of their luggage and personal belongings and exonerates the Organizing Entities from any claim for loss, damage, or theft of the same, whether in transit, in accommodations, in event facilities, or upon return.
17. Support on the Field and Celebrations
Following other players before or after their game is permitted, but only by walking in non-playing areas. Crossing lines of play is prohibited; they must walk on cart paths and areas where play is not interfered with. Failure to comply may lead to exclusion from the event without the right to refunds. Celebrations must be measured and without provoking rivals; respect must always be a priority. If falling into provocations, insults, or mockery, they may be excluded and expelled from the event without the right to refunds or access to the playing fields following expulsion.
18. Payments and Refunds
The organization will provide the refund program under the "Name Change at no cost" scheme. As the event approaches, fees for name changes will apply based on proximity, not exceeding 20%. Those who pay for the refund package will have the possibility of changes at no additional cost; if they cannot attend, the refund package will apply a percentage as the event approaches. If a person is not on the registration list and makes a payment without being an authorized participant, there will be no refunds or name changes (i.e., 100% of the payment is forfeited). In case of cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond the organization's control, the event will be rescheduled; if a refund is requested, it will be issued minus administrative costs previously incurred, accepting the fair percentage determined by the organization.
19. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This document is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Acapulco, Guerrero and/or Mexico City, Mexico.
